The company is now Sprint Nextel Corp. They are a publicly traded stock under the symbol S. Institutions and mutual funds own 85% of the company. The biggest holder this afternoon is Capital Research with 5.45%. Nobody else owns over 5%.

What I think you really want is "who's the boss". Gary Forsee, who owns over 1.25 million shares, is the President and CEO. The head operating guy is Len Lauer, COO. The head person for all consumer (that would be you and me) products like cell phone plans and everything is Tim Kelly, who is President-Consumer Solutions.
