If you have a legitimate need to get to those sites, talk to your system administrator or helpdesk or IT people. I had a user who was doing research on breast cancer but all the sites were blocked because of the word "breast" so we worked things out for her. But if you are trying to get to entertainment sites like myspace.com, save that for when you are on your own computer.

There are web sites and software out there that can bypass a proxy filter or block, but I don't recommend you do that. Companies and schools that have taken the trouble to put up a proxy or filter usually monitor your activity, too, and you could be facing a lot of trouble for trying to get around them.

you should have admnisterator privilages
go to control panel
go to internt options
select sites tab
select restricted sites
click sites
if there are any sites there remove them and click ok
