Why are employeers in Colorado hireing mexicans or illegal immigrants instead of US citizens? What ever happened to the saying Remember The Alamo? We faught to keep the Mexicans out of the US and here it is employeers would rather hire them than US citizens. WHY?

The employeers are paying them the same wage that they would pay a US citizen if they would hire us and give us a chance.
The mexican are taking are jobs away and people wonder why there are homeless people and children going hungry. It is because no employeer will hire a good hard working white person.
All mexicans should learn english and be us citizens not us have to learn there spanish.

It's not because people don't want to work hard anymore, that's bull! It's because employers would rather pay someone $6 an hour rather than $15 an hour . Would you rather pay someone less or more for a job they do?? The mexicans will take the lower wage because it's all they can get and the employers know that. The screwed up thing is that the people who want the higher wages (Americans) not only deserve it (we've gone to school and college) but NEED it to live on. We live in a country where you can't live off of $5 an hour and it makes no sense that that is the minimum wage. You can work 2 fulltime jobs at that rate and STILL be homeless, especially if you have a family!!

Well Mexicans are awesome (every country/culture is awesome really) and these guys who get hired more than U.S. people do is because they get payed less, dont have unions, dont really argue about their pay and they are just hard loyal workers, most of the time anyways you cant really base any person on a steriotype. I knew this one girl and man she was so lazy she would fall asleep behind the desk like every single day and you tell her to do something she will be like "si si si" and fall back asleep lol

Uh, the alamo was about slavery. Slavery was illeagle in mexico, so we turned it into texas, so people could own slaves there. And since the illeagle immigrants don't get paid well and get treated a lot like slaves, that is the only way what you're talking about relates to the alamo. And who's we? were you in the army? are you in the army? What exactly have you fought for?

Mexicans are willin 2 do anything for less pay so if the employer can get away with payin the mexins say $5hr and u want $8hr which one u think they will pick. I was askin that question a while ago and got that answer from mulitple people. (even mexins)

I admire your question and agree to some extent but you worded it in a way that makes you sound a little racist.
But it boils down to the fact that illegal immigrants have no rights and cannot complain or demand fair treatment in the work place therefore they are more desirable by greedy companies. People are naive to think that these companies are trying to help them. That is dead wrong. They are simply looking for desperate workers who will work for anything.

if i owned a business i'd hire mexican folks. they work, they don't have unions that allow them to clock in and sit around and do nothing, and they will do the same job for less pay. it's a win, win for the company. sad but true, where i work at we have a union (yes, in a hospital at that!!!) and this barnacle that's been here for over 25 years clocks in and does nothing!!! i swear, she makes an effort to do nothing! but can't get rid of her. UNION. now that's what i call unfair.

Simple....
Cheaper wages, and harder workers.
People who have lived hard appreciate their opportunities more. They appreciate what Americans have come to take for granted. I am an American, and I hate to admit it....but, we truly are spoiled and lazy when compared to other, less fortunate, countries.
