My boyfriend wants to go see the movie The Breakup, but I've heard that couples have fought with each other after seeing it. My boyfriend and I are just recovering from a big disagreement, so I'd rather not see it. What do I say to him?

It's a great movie. I laughed my *** off. If you are secure in your relationship, a movie shouldn't tear you apart.

My husband and I saw it together -- both of us saw ourselves (somewhat) in the characters, and it made us discuss how our arguments were similar to the argument that broke the movie couple up. I think it helped us see the other person's point of view better.

Tell him that if you see the Break Up, that's what will happen to your relationship.

Or, tell him let's see a different movie, like, X-Men or Cars, which opens tommorow. (that should be a good movie to see; I can't wait)
