It was an accident...or foul play it was never determined. They were doing a stunt with guns and they though they were unloaded, no bullets were ever added and the other actor pulled the trigger and instead of nothing (like what was supposed to happen) a bullet hit Brandon and he died. I believe he was killed instantly.

It had someting to do with THE CROW. He died in an accident on the set. I believe he was burned.

It wasn't a live round in the gun, a projectile from the blank shot out of the gun and killed him.
