Which one is better a dell or compaq laptop?

I'd go with a Dell because I've had tons of problems with Compaq products.

I've had 2 IBM's and 2 Toshiba's and not that pleased with any of them for the price I paid. I would try Dell as the price is right but I am thinking of Sony's Vaio next as I have not had any problems with any Sony products to date.

Dell...simply because of the great tech support they offer. If something goes wrong, they'll send someone out to fix it for you. It's great!

Well you can say dell.... which i'm using now
but if you need the better one use TOSHIBA its perfect
