It really all depends on your skin type. I have heard it works wonders for people with really oily skin. If you have combination skin it doesn't do a very good job as it causes certain areas to be very dry and other areas to be very oily! Combination skin is already dry in some places and oily in others but Proactiv makes the oil and dryness worse. It is not good for people who wear foundation because the drying effects can cause your skin to produce excess oil and your foundation will end up "melting" off by the end of the day. The oil control lotions you can buy don't help with the problem either, and adding pressed powder every hour to the face just makes it look un-even and flaky! I would definitely recommend it for people with oily skin...but not for anyone else!

I have been using Proactive for about 7 months now, and when i first started using it, my acne went away for a whole month, then it came back in like one or two pimples a day for about two months. now i get a pimple every other week or so. proactive works to clear pimples really good, but one thing i noticed is that the dark spots that your acne leaves will not go away from using proactive's bleaching cream. it does not work as good as the 3-step system (cleanser, toner, repair lotion).

Proactive about what?
Proactive usually means addressing an outcome before that outcome is realized. Proactive works if the areas addressed by the proactive action develop in the desired manner.

Yes, Proactive should work. That is if your acne isnt really severe and is on the surface. I tried it and it cleared my face up some, but not nearly how clear i wanted it to be. So instead I went to my docters to get "the pill" because my friend used it and it cleared her face up more and my docter sadi that i didn't want the pill i needed something strong because my problem was under the skin. So she told me to go to my dermatologist and ask my accutain. Yes you have to ask for it by name because its that strong. There are some bad things about it like you have to get your blood drawn once a month for 6 months. But after that your done, and your skin in flawless. Unless your like me and wiated too long to do something and i have some minor scars. But if i woudl have know abou this sooner.. i definetly would have done it! The good outweighs the bad anytime it involves your face and beautiful skin! So ask you docter about it... it REALLY does work.

It worked wonders on me! I won't go without it now! I had adult acne for about 10 years and tried all kinds of stuff from the dermatologist. This is the ONLY thing that has ever worked to clear it up COMPLETELY! No more breakouts, no more redness, no more flaking - it is WONDERFUL!!

No they just want your money it's the same thing like oxy cleaner it doesn't do any thing just gives you a rash. It will give you a rash just like it did to Jessica Simpson and P Diddy. Don't believe everything you hear on T.V.

I tired it. It worked, at least I think it did. I didn't have much zits in the first place. I think the number of zits did go down but not all of them dissapeared.
