I am a home delivery driver for my local newspaper. It is hardly my chosen profession but the job market being what it is where I live it is the only job I could get after 3 years of unemployment.

I wanted to be an Oceanographer but marriage and my ex-husbands military career got in the way.

I'm a dispatcher for a Trucking Company, I look for cargo, and negotiate pay between a shipping company, my truck, and the company that's gonna recieve the cargo. Not really my chosen profession sorta got into this cause of my Uncle but I'm getting tired of it, so I'm looking for something else. I am studying to get a degree in Business financing, I lik stocks, Investments, real estate, refinances, all that good stuff, and thats what I want to do for a living. Wish me luck.

I am the manager of a club. Obviously (well, ok ... for ME at least) it is not my chosen profession, but it's okay. It's good enough for a while, cause it's giving me the chance to study. So the "What did you want to be?" question I can still answer with "I still WANT to be" .... a lawyer.

I am a chef, which is my chosen profession. A couple of years ago I suffered severe injuries, crushed my whole right side- 2mo. in coma, another 6 in hospital/rehab learning to walk again, right leg & arm held together w/ titanium, driver, not me, got a busted lip from the steering wheel.... in a car accident and cooking is not as easy as it used to be..lol so now I am going to school for Nutrition. Mostly facilities management, hospital, schools, etc.
Yes, it's what I want to do.... 'till something better comes along, anyway LOL

I help people have fun. I put together some of the best parties all over the world for major customers.

Not what I'd envisioned... I started out putting together corporate mergers and acquisitions, but realized I was working with a lot of people who were way too stressed out all the time.

I am doing what I love, but being yet another person with high goals, I wanted to be a professional football player, but those dreams died due to far too many injuries. I now work in a library and enjoy it very much!
