If it's a girl, they usually give to an orphanage or abandon them and keep on having babies until they have a son. I think with multiple births (as twins) they do the same thing... If it's a boy, they keep one, if it's a girl they give away.
The abandoned ones usually end up being adopted by families in different countries... Most often US or EU countries.
I think they can have multiple kids if they pay higher taxes, so only the wealthy can do this.

I think the rule is that you can only bear children once without having to pay an un-cheap tax. If there are twins, tripets, etc. That does not count against a couple. The law was made to control the booming population in China.

They accept multiple births but you have to pay a certain amount. However, for the people who are the only child in their family, they can have more than one. (eg, the second generation)

Yeah that's true but from what i've heard is that the only child has to be a boy, otherwise the child has to be put up for adoption for those who can't have children to raise.

Many children are abandoned, especially girls. However, it is not completely banned. The parents just have to pay higher taxes for every additional child.

I think you are allowed to have more than one child now. At least that's what my parents say.

well, it has changed a bit. If both the parents are the only child, then they can have a second one.

Lots of kiddos get left in fields, hoping that missionaries will get them and take care of them....The others unless you have allot of money, the government takes them and disposes of them.
