For the record why the hell do people think calling an American a cowboy is an INSULT? Don't they know what we made cowboys into? We have so romantized them that they aren't even near what they really were. Anyway I'm sure the Candians have some sterotypes about us. Although I never knew of Candians to have beady eyes or floppy heads. Didn't know of them to be stuck up either. Where are you? I mean maybe it is because I live close to Canada, right across one of the Great Lakes, I miss these weird claims. I don't know I always thought they were supposed to be polite and have a cleaner country.

An awful lot of Canucks hate us dude, now you've opened a floodgate for the insults. By the way, I have never about them being stuck up, having beady eyes, or floppy heads. Maybe they just seem stuck up because you are American and they hate you because you are. That would sound about right.

Beady eyes and floppy heads? I have never heard that. I think that the rest of the world see us as fat, arrogant and self-centered.

No, but they think people from the US are all a bunch arrogant, pompous jack-asses that think everything in the US is better than everywhere else. Maybe there are people here like that, but not the majority. I really wish people from other countries would spend more time with people from the US before they develop their stereotypes.

Speak for yourself. I am an American and I have never heard that about Canadians. What I do believe is, their language sounds like Americans. A lot of their beliefs seems like the English.

Just like you americans we have our share of goofs, rednecks, cowboys, thugs and the rest of it.BUT the most important thing is that we share the longest undefended border in the world. We are two peace loving nations and also share common values which all of us should be extremely gratefull.

Well, I'm sure they stereotype us too, and they probably think we're complete morons. They probably think we're mean too, because of our media. I know the perfect example of us stereotyping them, though. If you've ever see "Southpark," you'd know how we stereotype them. The two Canadian characters, Terrance and Philip, have beedy eyes, talk funny, and are really stupid. Don't get me wrong, I love the show, but it's bad how we both stereotype each other.

Yes, all Americans say about funny, and they don't know anything about hockey, or curling!

And if the word "process" is pronounced "prawcess" then why is Tiger Woods not called a "golf praw"?
