Black is hot
Dark Blue is good.

Depends on what your skin tone's like. I am pale, pale, pale, so I should've gone with something dark. I went with a pale blue, though, because it was a dress that a friend let me borrow, and it happened to fit me perfectly. Besides that, it was free. Of course, it washed me out completely, but that was okay. Besides, I didn't want to spend a fortune on a gown that I would only wear once. Then I went out and bought another dress for another event, and this time it was black, so it contrasted my skin very well.
If your skin is lighter, go for darker hues; judging by your avatar, I would go with something aqua or green.

it should go with your skin color. The dress should work for you. The color should bring out the color of your skin, your eyes or your hair. Aim should be: the dress looks good because YOU are wearing it. NOT: you look good because of the dress.

Depending on the color of your hair and skin, almost any shade of blue is a great choice. Just try not to make it too trendy. In years you will look back like I did with mine and you will see 5" platform rocker bottom shows sticking out! Yeech!

Well I don't think you could ever go wrong with any dress that is Black. I would also consider Dark or Deep Red or Blue

It depends on your skin tone, but if I had to choose a color I would say a medium pink would look good on most people.

AT PROM THAT THE TIME TO SHINE TRY LOOKING IN MAGAZINES TO SEE WHAT COLORS ARE HOT FOR THE SEASON. BUT REMEMBER JUST BECAUSE IT LOOKS GOODS ON THE MANNEQUIN DOESN'T MEAN THE SAME FOR YOU SO BUT VERY VERY CAREFUL OF THAT

Lite green
Lite pinks
Lite browns/reds
beige/white
Best bets:
Black or deep navy blue
Dark Burgundy red
Deep dark chocolate brown

Everyone looks good in black.
If you don't want to go that way, and you look like your avatar, try something in the sea mist or coral family. Pastels can be babyish.
