I am up for an annual review. It's been one heck of a year. I'm not sure my review is going to go very well and I'm scared. Though I'm trying to turn over a new leaf...it might be a bit late for This review. >.<

Can you give me any tips for staying calm and being gracious? I'm so nervous...

I'm certain that they aren't going to fire me and I always listen to what they say.

I suppose I should rephrase the question, "How do I keep from looking like someone p*ssed in my Cheerios?"

I try to be gracious but there are occassions where my nerves get the best of me.

A fate similar to yours is looming for me... If you have to comment, say that you appreciate their comments & that you intend your make the effort to change things. If they haven't given you recommendations for improving your performance, then ask for some... good luck!!

Yes, listen to them for a change. Only speak when spoken too. When some of the things they may say "sting" a little, choke it down. Then as you say, turn over the new leaf and keep going.
If you were "so fired" you would not be having the review.
