ok this is going to sound akward but i have a situation that i need big advice on ok there is this guy that i have always liked and he is a good friend of the familys well recently he has been staying with us at my dads place and we have became really close and we hung out all the time and we started to like eachother well my dad didnt like the fact that we were becomeing closer so he said that he thinks that i should stop hanging with him but that just makes me wanna hang with him more but anyways David the guy i like is going to nebraska to visit his mom and friends and my dad is telling me that he cant come back but david told me like 15 mins before he left that he WILL be back no matter what my dad says that makes me feel good but should i go with what david says orwhat my dad says ?

Talk to your dad and ask him why he feels so strongly about you being close to David. You need to remember that your Dad has a lot more life experience and wisdom than you do and he is probably just looking out for you - even if it doesn't seem like it. But talk to your Dad and find out his reasoning, and be honest with your Dad about how you feel about David. You need to respect your Dad no matter what, if it turns out your Dad still doesn't want you to see him even after you both talk then respect him and don't see him - trust your Dad's judgement.
If you disobey your Dad you are going to start a whole mess between you and your dad.

your dad is a man and most time your dad can tell if another man is good for you or not, i don't know but they just have that sense when it comes to who' s good for you and who's not trust me dad's know, b/c they are the same gender of what's trying to get in your pants. it's best if you listen to your dad, he just wants whats best for you and not the less
