Try to keep it casual and not a "date" just make it more like hanging out after work to get a beer or something. Then see if you even want to pursue more. People sometimes have one persona at work and another that is the real them!! Good Luck!

don't do it. it's not a good idea. it's not worth taking the risk to see if you'd be one of the few people out there that actually has a good relationship w/a co-worker. just keep it as a secret crush. telling other co-workers isn't a wise idea either. You don't need any rumors or drama over another co-worker.

This is extremely covert, but it works----It requires the assist of at least one other person---First you must know a little about your target---some special interest they have--(do they like to have a drink after work / do they like to play pool / are they coffee addicts/ etc) then you just casually ask them if they'd like to join you and a couple of friends for a ...............(insert interest area here) after work---doesn't work first off---in a few days alter the invite somewhat and go again---when they say yes and they eventually will---meet with them and the other person who after a short intervel---gets a call (oh my) something has come up and they have to leave----BINGO---after a short one-on-one you just sling out the old---you know WE need to do this more often thing------DOUBLE DAILY---works damn near every time !!! (Oh--and with the River Walk atmosphere nearby--if you can't make that work for you --- you ain't even trying and we'll make you turn in your Texas citizenship papers)

yeah, asking out a co-worker may just not be a good thing to do. but thats deff not what you want to hear. I would say, make it casual. try not to be embaressed, just ask "hey i liked working on this project with you, and i'd love to get to know you better. would you like to have dinner saterday?" just keep it cool and casual, nothing fancy, just ask

it's never a good idea to get invloved with some one at work, especially if it does not work out. Not only would it be awkward, but one could loose their job over it. If you really want to, just casually ask" hey are you doing anytjing after work", or " I heard there is this really good place to eat down town, would you like to try it with me?" Just be suttle.

ask him to go places after work as friends first, like in a group. then after you guys get really comfortable, ask him to go do something one-on-one. if it seems like you guys are hitting it off, it will become natural and he might even ask YOU out ;). you could also ask a mutual friend to ask him how the guy feels about you. it might be awkward if you just start off asking the guy out and then he says no and u guys have to see each other every day.

I don't know how to but someone did asked me out. the way she asked me out was so original that i didn't know she was asking me out(or was i dumb??). We were talking about this Chinese food and she popped the question ... she told me there is a Chinese hangout nearby and asked me if i wanna come. I said yes- never thought it was a date when she took me out somewhere else. The said hangout was nearer from my house than hers...so u never know. we had fun- the fact that it didn't work our is another matter.. office romance isn't that cool...

I personally wouldn't. You may not hit it off as anything more than friends and it may be awkward to see them at work constantly, if it didn't work out.
