Pastors are held up higher in accountability then us in the congregation,Because he is our leader.I don't think that he should go on being a pastor or marry anyone again.Look at Jimmy Swaggered,He was going and getting sex from prostitutes.Sure he is just a human like us.BUT... He chose this kind of walk with the Lord.I went to a church for a long time and my whole family loved him,But I kept saying...There is something not right with this guy.And finally the truth came out,He was stealing all the Cash from all of the collection plates.I just could tell that something was up with him. Pastors,Priest, what ever they are called are meant to be in more in line with the Lord than anyone.

What's wrong with you people? Stop being so judgmental. If a pastor is divorced, he/she is divorced, so what. That shouldn't affect their ability to lead a church.
And as for you ACDixon, some of the greatest pastors ARE women. Get off your high horse and stop taking everything so literally.

Let's just say that I would not want to get marriage counseling from him. And I seriously doubt that the bible says anything about a pastor.

If they are divorced, they can still be a pastor, but if they remarry, they are no longer qualified.

I Timothy 3:2 says bishops (pastors) are to be "the husband of one wife." (That also excludes women from being pastors, BTW.)

I don't see anything wrong with it....pastors are human aren't they? They do sin like we do right??Would you want someone to take away your job because your husband/wife wanted to leave you. I really think it's up to the congregation.
