If you're looking for controversial television commercials for a school paper or something along those lines, I would recommend doing a search in Advertising Age (adage.com). Most recently Unicef has a very controversial commercial involving Smurfs being carpet bombed (keyword: Unicef) and the United Nations itself took on a great deal of critism when it showed an American little-league soccer game being 'disrupted' by a landmine (keyword: United Nations). These articles aren't free, but you can probably get the issue number, then get access to them on microfilm at your university library.

Another useful site is adcritic.com.

Also try the third source below. It's a Google search with lots of good resources for you to plunder.

Good luck!
