Could girls who have pretty face but are over weight have a relationship? I have a body like raven symone,well.. about 20 pounds lighter. I have hazel eyes and brown hair. I dont have a big nose or ugly teeth or anything. I was rejected once because some jerk said i was not thin. Ever since, i have a huge fear of rejection and i try not to get in relationships, even when i think it could work out. In other words, i have lost total confidence. Any words of encouragement or advice?

Beauty isn't about weight or color. It's really about how overall proporational and symetrical you are. Your goal is to look like everything was custom designed to fit your body. The Greeks had what was known as the Ideal Mean which made your body fit in certain proportions. For instance, in men, our bicep/neck/calves should all be about the same circumference to look "good". It has nothing to do with size, just proportion from one part of your body to the next.
So, big, little, thin or wide, you can look attractive if you make sure you look balanced. I havn't been able to find an "ideal mean" ratio for girls yet, because body builders dominate the proporation game. But don't lose heart, you can still turn heads even if you are 20 over what you think you should be. And confidence is key in attracting guys.

You know baby girl, dont worry to much about it, I'm a thick girl too. always have been, I've been with my man for 12 yrs. i'm 27 now.
Now check this out. there are some superficial people in the world, and just because society and tv says that being big, thick or not a size 10 and under is not attractive, they got problems, and they are border line human..
No matter what size you are your still beautiful, I wish men and women would get over the weight issue.
They need to start looking at if they are intelligent or not, a person could be thin and fine , but be dumb as hell. now is that really attractive...
So my point is you can have a very successful relationship... if you were down south or some where with a lot of minority people they love thick women. but you still have your idiots, that think being thin is the right way to be. they still have to grow up & need a reality check.

It does not matter what size you are, as long as you are healthy, mentally and physically. Just because a person is thin does not mean that they are healthy. Besides there are a lot of unattractive thin people. Forget about that jerk who rejected you but make sure to be yourself. The best way to get guys to notice you is to be confident and fun to be around. Oh, and dress in the appropriate size, nothing bothers me more than a woman, big or small, who wears something 2 sizes too small, it makes them look ridiculous! I would not give my curves up for the world and I am by no means considered overweight. Happy Hunting!

Speaking of Carney Wilson, keep in mind, she met that dude when she was at her heaviest. And I'm sure Raven Symone doesn't have a problem getting a date. Also, Mo' nique and Queen Latifah. These chicks have so much confidence and beauty. Confidence is the key whether you're thin or not.
There are some guys who only like thin girls but there are also plenty of guys who like only big girls and many who like girls of all sizes. When you have confidence, you can discard the losers who want you skinny and find one that's attracted (yes I said attracted) to you. Remember you're too good to settle for someone who wants to change you. You might be surprised how many guys flock to you. Since you are avoiding a relationship, you may be missing some who are already looking at you from afar.

If you're going to have a relationship with someone, make sure the person appreciates who you are on the inside, because in the long run that's all that matters! Be yourself and don't let anyone put you down about your weight or appearance. I know it's tough, but believe me, when you finally find a person who sees the real you and not just what you look like, it will be worth it!

Absolutely NOT. If they are comfortable with their own body. That is what matters. Don't for one minute think that the press and celebrities set a rule for the way a person should be or look or act. NO WAY. Be yourself and be as healthy as you can be. Beauty comes from within. Some of the most beautiful people are not thin. It adds character to a person. Just be healthy.

You are reading too darn much into thin. Thin is a Madison Avenue Advertising campaign that has been foisted off on the world. Look around and learn; cricket. People come in all shapes and sizes and styles. VIVA LA DIFFERENCE. Never make the mistake of trying to make yourself into what you think the other person wants. Screw rejection; if they approach you on hands and knees and bump their forehead on the ground in supplication you might lower yourself to place your foot on their head; other than that don't have to acknowledge their existence.

Of course not. I Like you said yourself, it was a jerk who said that to you. Look at the famous people who are skinny. It's not a bad thing but there's a fine line between skinny and too skinny, and most of them are too skinny. A body like Raven Symone isn't bad at all. That guy was just a jerk and is obviously missing out. =)

look the girls that try and stay skinny arn't smart and usually arn't to pretty and they get depressed really easy, the buetiful women are the ones that care bout their personnality first then their looks. Cause the girls that care bout their look are usually not the one that have a long and meanigful relationship. As long as u love ur self for who u are some will come along and do the same!

Don't be so hard on yourself. Ever seen a plus size catalog? Their big and beautiful. I've also heard from a makeup artist that they're also more confident than the super skinny models. Who would have thought?
Different guys like different types. Your not his type, but I guarantee you, you are plenty of other guys type.
