I do believe that there are in fact aliens out there somewhere because of a simple calculation i saw somewhere but it goes something like this.........

there are about 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 (1 billion billion) stars in the area of the milky way galaxy ...... if only 1% of these are stars similar to our sun...... 1% of those have planets ..... 1% of those have earth like planets ....1% of those have any type life ......1% intelligent life .......1% advanced intelligent life then there are 1,000,000 aliens out there.

However think about how hard it is to find an alien in these terms....

They say that there are more stars out there than grains of sand at the beach . If I were to go to the local beach and paint one grain of sand pure black then you go to that same beach the next day ..... what are the odds that you would find that same grain of sand? Well those are the odds of aliens finding us.

I believe that they exist and check in on us once in a while. It would be ignorant to think that we are the only intelligent life in the universe. 2 months after I was born my father saw one - he was outside looking at the night sky when he saw about 5 or 6 lights go very fast left and right in a half circle about 3 times, and then shoot off to the right in a straight line and disappear. We can't think of any type aircraft that could be.
Liz Roswell, it's possible you saw a satellite, their orbit around the our planet looks almost exactly how you described it from someone on earth's perspective....

Yes I do. It is arrogant of us humans to think that we are the only life here in the universe. There is enough materials floating around that there could be an advanced race. However I don't think that they are coming to the earth as often as some people say. If they are as advanced enough to achieve intergallatic travel then they are smart enough to know that we are just to dangerous to visit for too long. Sort of like being in Compton at 2 am. Who is to say that there isn't a silicon based life form?

Well I dont, its because if there are some, they should like negotiate or talk to us. And I think things about aliens are just fiction.

I really think it is a possibility. I think its a bit ignorant to say that we are the only beings with higher knowledge in the entire universe.
