everything evolves because everything has been evolving right.... well at least thats what we think... humans were monkeys and birds were dinosaurs and so on .... so what in your oppinion will humans look like in a million years of evolution from now..... i rekon its the familiar face with the big downward black fisheyes we associate as ALIENS ( i dont beleive in aliens but it makes me think) is it possible to predict this with todays technology ? we can predict what other creatures were ,so why not what theyre going to be and look like

Evolution doesn't exist. It never started, so it can never stop. Adpatation exists. That much I can go with, but evolution. Um. No. Now, to answer your question. If the earth as we know it, would even be around long enough to last out to reach a million years. Well, then we'll still be the same. it's the fly deal. Someone for a long period of time did a bunch of stuff to flies / microwaves....ect. To even see if mutations could exist beyond the first stages. Well, After hundreds and hundreds of generations of flies. Even though some were deformed. They were still flies. And even the ones that were deforemed, had normal flies. so, we'd still be the same. No changes.

I JUST POSTED THIS TO A SIMILAR QUESTION BUT IT FITS YOUR QUESTION BETTER.
Considering our most common activities and tasks today...maybe the future human being will have a large head, little or no hair. A very small chin and very weak or less teeth and hardly any lips at all. Our skin will be very light and sensitive to sunlight. Our fingers will probably be strong and our fingertips round and larger (computers and buttons), our legs will probably be thiner, weaker and shorter (we walk less), our eyes may probably be large and prepared for absorbing a lot of light. Our noses will be replaced by a pair of small holes. We will probably be hermaphrodite. Hey, does this sound like an alien as depicted in movies?? interesting isn't it???

if evolution is right then why are their still monkeys or anything else they would have developed into humans together, if not perhaps when a few more crocs stand upright we'll have a bit more aggression in our football team, only problem being they'll all be called croicodile something, will be confusing to everyone except aussies who have an intimate diary of various families.

Evolution never stops, but it is usually boring. Any given animal will have a bunch of newly evolved resistance to diseases after a million years, but look much the same. We've looked exactly the same for ~100,000 years.

Evolution is a theory. Most things in Science are theories. They never say it is fact because it cant not be proved but only a theory. If you want answers to anything really, look at the bible. God created all.

I don't think there is evolution. There are lot of different species but no evolution. Every species is uniquely different but I don't think they evolved. There are lizards that have feet and fish with fins and gills they don't seem very alike to me. If you're monkey's uncle that's your belief.

i suppose technically evolution will continue until the world ends...The way it is going i think in a millienia we will be living in a tropical climate with much more water than there is now, due to global warming melting the icecaps, so all animals will have to adapt to hot damp weather or die

Evolution doesn't exist. We didn't used to be monkeys. It just goes against everything in the Bible. For the truth watch: http://www.jesusfilm.org/languages/index.html

i agree with baldyhugs
we won't be here
we never learn from our mistakes and will destroy this beautiful world on which we live !
since god threw us out of eden we have done nothing but kill, cheat, lie and destroy
more a case of devolution, i think ....................
and if aliens ever did decide come to view our planet and make contact, i think they should stay the f**k away and preserve their own evolution !
