no, it just disolves the hair and you wipe it off, similar to shaving. I suggest you just bite the bullet and wax it. Wax pulls it out by the follicle and it won't grow back for about 8 weeks, plus it damages the follicle so it grows back weaker than before.
Also, i suggest 'sugaring'. It's like waxing but is a lot less painful and easy to wash off. I use what is called 'moom'. It's great. But use the strips, it may be messy but it really is the best.

I use nair and it works just fine for me. I don't have to nair again until a month later. but I guess it just depends on the person. if there skin is sensitive or not. I also use it on my legs, but I have to do it every week on my legs for some reason. lol.

If by "really work" you mean, "does it chemically burn you so as to literally melt the hair off your skin, with the possibility of burning your skin at the same time," then yes, it definitely works. I've tried it. Warning: you will smell like chemically burnt hair for at least 48 hours after use, if a patch of skin of any size is covered.
Seriously, this should be your *last* choice option for depilation, from a health, safety, and environment standpoint.

It's weird. I used it as a teen, and it worked flawlessly, but I'm allergic to every hair remover I've tried so I stopped. Recently, this is ten years later, I tried the product again, and it didn't do anything! I just washed off like shaving cream!

Veet with the bladeless razor is good. With Nair, I usually break out.

absolutely not!! Nair is a total waste of money and time. it doesn't take all the hair of your legs and it has a really awful smell. my advice to you: don't waste your time

It doesn't work too well. I bought it a long time ago, tried it and it didn't get nearly all the hair off...There were patches it didn't get, even though I covered my whole leg with it. I wouldn't reccomend it.
