Well, a circle does have a side. It is a continuous set of points that are all equidistant from a common point, thus giving it one side.

A true circle does not have a side by polygonal, 2-dimensional geometry. A circle is the solution set consisting of every point that is located a certain distance away from another point. Therefore it is an infinitely detailed collection of points that can be expressed as a 360 degree arc, which is also not a "side". Because a circle is all points and no connecting lines, the answer to your question is that they do not in fact have sides.

A circle is a set of all the points equidistant from a fixed point i.e. the centre.
A circle has infinite number of points.
A side can be formed with only 2 points like a line which passes through any 2 points.
In this way numerous sides can be formed.
We can therefore tell that a circle can have infinite number of sides.

actually circles have an infinite amount of sides. see a circle is a collection of an infinite amount of points, and a side is a line between two points of a shape. all you have to do is think about it for a couple of seconds.
