Well, i'd suggest letting it go away from your house, but those are the poisonous colors, so be careful when you handle it. But if it is poisonous it isnt that bad, the skin may just have an oil that makes you itchy or red.

I would check with the game warden-they will know or at least find out for you, if you are wanting it as a pet. You could maybe ask a vet too.
Look up salamanders or poisonous salamanders on a web search and you will find some pictures that may guide you.

If it is brightly colored it is probably poisonous. I don't know if it applies to salamanders but check its eyes if the pupils are round it is not venomous. If they are slitted it is venomous.

i dont know, but if you leave it alone, it will leave you alone.
you could trap it without touching it and put it somewhere away from your house, dont kill it.
