yes i think it should...i mean it seems as if america has been born to think that men are the dominant gender for sports. i think that it is time that women can be reconized! i am all the way with softball being a famous sport.

YES! Softball is a lot like baseball, except for the bigger ball, smaller field, and aluminum bats. But fastpitch is SO cool to watch! Women can throw that ball VERY hard. Some men are like, 'It's way easier,' but it's not. Since the mound is closer, it's just like major league baseball pitching. Those women can throw all types of pitches.
I think it should become a 'famous sport' also because women still do not have as big an impact on sports as men.

Not really. Softball is a game to play, baseball is a game to watch.

If you think softball should become a big sport like baseball, you haven't watched the really good softballers play. They have to institute home run rules (ie, only three home runs per game... the fourth ball over the outfield fence is an automatic out) to keep it from being a home run derby.

It's just not as exciting to watch (at least, not slow-pitch). No lead-offs, no stealing bases, no pitcher's duels... Don't get me wrong. I love softball. I'm on a league. I just see it as more of a players' game than a spectator sport.

No, because it is underhand pitching and not real athletes. It isnt hard to hit a ball thats twice the size of a baseball, so it isnt very entertaining.
