It is very disapointing to see that therer "Big size" stores for women, promoting fatness. Why has America accepted being fat? It is repulsive to see fat women wear skimpy clothing that is meant for fit, thin women.

there is nothing wrong with being fat, it's people like you that are shallow who don't accept the people for who they are. Anyone should be able to feel comfortable whatever shape they are?... and what do u mean promoting fatness? how??...a store... u know people need to wear cloths... lol

Finally, people are tired of society telling them that they have to be thin! As long as someone is comfortable with who they are and how they look then what makes the difference? People of all shapes and sizes have to wear clothes. Does that mean that the stores that only have small sizes are promoting people to be anerexic? Stop being so judgmental and look beyond the outer appearance.

Well let me answer ur question! These day's men love a woman who is "thick" or has "a little bit of meat on their bones" ... Who want's to lay up or cuddle with someone who they can't dive into and indulge that hunger? These days... many men aren't even partial to thin women! I don't know if this is a man or a woman who posted this question... however it seems like you have a little hater in your blood! Are u not getting enough love from men... ... cause u too thin? We big sexy women... well we shouldn't sometimes wear what we wear... but if we're comfortable in our skin... then who gives a damn what you or anyone else thinks! Eat a little bit more and I guarantee you'll start gettin some love!

Hmm... I think for the most part, that people who are fat don't care about themselves or their health and general apperance. It disgusts me on many levels to see stuff like that. I don't think people are more comfortable being fat, it's just easier to get that way( Thanks McDonald's). I understand some people have a medical problem, but there is no excuse to eat your way to 500lbs and it's an insult for them to tell me im wrong for " Not Accepting" them. Get some self controll and make an attempt to loose some weight and I'll respect you. BTW, I used to be over 300 LBS and got my *** in gear and am down to 185. No excuse for being fat but lazyness and no self control.

We all know that there is more fat people in the world than skinny people. People are out there to make money so yes they are going to sell clothes in bigger sizes. I don't think there is nothing wrong with being fat if that is how they want to live as long as they are happy with themselve.

People are how they are. No one lives their life based on your opinions. Let people be themselves. Is everything perfect about you? It's doubtful. Everyone should just do the best they can and look in their own windows and fix their own problems.

I guess they assume the fact that they are kind of round and maybe they either lie it or are lazy to do something about it! personally i wouldn't be comfortable ,but again 'that's personal'

everyone has to wear clothing! have you ever wondered if us PHAT girls aren't sick of seen skinny Lil bags of bones running around with there shirt so tight you can see protruding shoulder blades? DON'T HATE, GAIN WEIGHT!! lol
