What kind do you suggest? I want a mini, because I heard that it costs about the same as a Nano, but it holds like double the songs. What do you suggest???

What about price? How expensive are we talking here?
And on average, how many songs does each hold? That is my main issue. Because I just have a regular MP3, but it only holds 120 songs, so I feel very limited with it. I want freedom!!! LOL!

It depends on how much music you're wanting to put on your iPod in the first place. If you've got 6 gig or less, then the Mini would be the best bargain (just be sure you get the 2nd Generation because the battery life of the 1st Generation is crap). If you've got 20 gig or less, I would go with the 5G model. 20+ gig... go for a video iPod (30 gig or 60 gig). I've got the 60 gig version and it is well worth it. :P

you could spend the $500 and get an ipod video and that would hold a couple of movies and then all your music. The iPod photo is a step down but also just as good with out the movie aspect. I personally dont like the shuffle for the reason that you cant see what your listening to or who the artist is. If your undesiciveness is between the nano or the shuffle i would go with the nano

Well the iPod mini is no longer made i dont think. They are about four times bigger in size than an ipod nano. A mini is about the size of a pack of cigarettes and the nano is about the size of 6 business cards put together. I got the 1G nano, no complaints here. it holds enough songs on it.

I would buy an Ipod video. You can watch music videos, your favorite tv shows, and movies on it. I would also recommend a creative player that is compatible with music services such as yahoo, and napster.

I love my nano because it is small you can put it anywhere. Mini is much bulkier by comparison.
