God is the nothing which makes the IS greater than the sum of its parts.

Yes dear...

God is something that truly exists.

He's up there, he's watching us, observing each move we make, knows our past, present and our future. He's the one who have decided and wrote our fate and what's meant for us in our life (Future). He's the Al-Mighty one.

And most of all, he's the Creator of allllllllllllllll Humans.

The entire Human Race was created by God.
We're God's creation living in this world until it ends so that we shall move to another dimension, a better one for some and a bad one for others.

He does exist and anyone who tells you that he does not exist then I shall pity him/her. Cause I can't really believe that there are some people in this world with this kinda Mind-Set. So "Narrow Minded" that they can't figure out that no man on earth would've created all of that. No man would've created the Mountains, The Sky, The Earth...
So many things just don't make sense if they were really created by man kind.
Even scientis up till this moment can't figure out some things about the (Human Brain), or Why do we yawn??? They don't know what triggers something to make us yawn???
Clooning...
So many things that won't end can't be created out of no where!
Just like the Carpenter creates his door or all the wooden stuff, God has created us in order to live life, and enjoy it to a certain limit so that we would enjoy the coming one.. Even better but with eternity... Cause this one is not eternal.

Since you used a capital "G". I am going to assume you are asking about Yahweh. Yes, He does exist and is "something". Now the more important question is where do you go to learn more about Him and who He really is?

I would like to direct you to the Gospel of John in the Holy Bible English Standard Version (it is laid out simply in this version). Ask yourself two questions: What does this tell me about God? What does this tell me about me?

I will be praying for you as you embark on discovery.

God is someone, not a thing, but someone. He is the father of Jesus Christ.
So, yes, God is a person. And only He knows what He thinks and like.

Scripture says, God wrote "I AM" in stone at the Temple. God is in all things, for He created them all.

If God was nobody, why would so many people believe he exists. Are we all wrong, and the handful that don't believe right? Common sense says he is something.

heh...I'm going to address what you don't want to hear.

Are rational concepts, abstractions, generalizations from particlars.. are these "ideas" existant? What is the ontological status of categories?

Incomprehensible categories exist? like "God"
or do we say it IS knowable -- since God is everything we are not, every limit to our ability is perfected.. every edge rounded and infinite.

If we say numbers are real entities.
"Redness" exists.
The Pure Forms of Plato.
Sure, God, whynot.

It depends on the man who you are asking.
For me God is important and He is definitely Something.
