How do you view the war and the soilders fighting in Afghanistan, do they have a mission to accomplish someday? What is the mission?
Is it to abolish terror there? If Americans succed in another "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED", who will destroy the terrorists all over the world and their evil minds and souls?

Wow, doesn't anybody care that Osama bin Laden is responsible for the events of 911, and the Iraq war and the Al Qaeda of Zarqawi is a creation of George W. Bush?

You are very Right. Good for you. Terror in the world is an invention of Bush and his friends. With this mentality of saving the world from an obscure enemy the lie to the people and kill inocents just for oil.
Wow I would like to have a dinner with a woman like you. Go on.

Our poor soldiers in Afghanistan. The media forgets them and so does the Pres. That is where we should be fighting. The Iraqis, As bad as Saddam H was, were not responsible for the attack on 9/11 but the Afghans don't have OIL!! If we where going to fight we needed to gain ergo Iraq!! When we cut off the head of the terrorists IE: Ben laud-en: then we will have won. I guess the Pres and his group decided that fighting on a flat desert for ail was better than fighting in the mountains for the prime terrorists. Lord help us and our soldiers in Afghanistan.

I feel bad for Afghanistan. They had big problems in the past resisting the Soviet occupation. After the Soviets it was the Taliban who ruined their day. If we could have focused our efforts solely there, besides getting Bin Ladin we might've also been able to get Afghanistan back on its feet. But NOOOO, as former counter-terrorism expert Richard Clark remarked on 60 minutes, Rumsfeld complained that there were no decent targets for bombing in Afghanistan and that we should consider bombing Iraq, which, unbelievably, he said, had better targets.
Adolph Hitler wrote in Mein Kampf that a nation would be foolish to fight a war on TWO FRONTS, which he, against his own advice, inevitably did (and of course, lost).
I see similarities, except that if Bush and Cheney commit suicide in the Vice President's undisclosed (bunker!) location, that will leave third-in-line Dennis Hastert, a former gym teacher, in charge.
Sometimes I just want to cry. These guys are ruining my country.

How is this the creation of G.W. Bush?!
I do not agree with the invasion of Iraq, but we have been WAY too civil in Afghanistan. Notwithstanding there are, and will be times when a military response is the only appropriate answer.

terrorism in itself has been going on forever. it will never be "destroyed", only minuted. as for bin laden, i believe i heard somewhere that the soldiers in afghanistan r looking of him. the press only cares about the "big story" and bush only seems to care about the oil and such because thats what the press says. and of course, we're going to believe the press. all i can say is, have faith in our soldiers and that peace will come.

It's not good there. My best friend is there, and he refuses to talk about it anymore; he doesn't want to scare anybody. Insurgency is up, the taliban is rising, and we are going to watch two countries (Iraq and Afghanistan) go into civil war.
