My son was born at 30 weeks, he weighted 3lbs 11oz. He was also born with TEF (Tracheo Esphogeal Fistula). I have been trying to find other parents who's child had this same birth defect.

I dont think too many people have seen a child with the TEF, but my twin cousins were born at 2lbs and they are still as annoying as they were at age 1! A premature baby doesnt mean anything, enjoy your son like any other baby, love him. But be careful about his heart since he has TEF, it may harm him if he's not healthy when he was born.

My nephew sounds like the exact same baby. He is the cutest, most adorable toddler now! Good luck, I hope you get connected to other parents who have dealt with this.
