Maybe you are straining too hard, or pushing to hard. Ask your trainer, and go see a doctor just to be safe. We don't want you to pass out on us. It could be your diet, have you changed it lately since the pain started, or your routine. Possibly you are not getting enough oxygen. Take care.

"if you had Basilar Migraine. Not to frighten you, but it also needs to be considered that many of the symptoms you describe are stroke symptoms as well as Migraine symptoms. Have you had a CT scan or MRI recently? You're right that triptans and ergotamines are not recommended for Basilar Migraines; nor are they prescribed for patients with a history of stroke.
Please, if your doctor is not taking this seriously, dismiss him, and get a new doctor."
"Basilar type migraine
Basilar type migraine (BTM) is an uncommon type of migraine with aura that occurs in the brainstem. To meet the criteria for diagnosing BTM, aura symptoms must include at least two of the following: diplopia, simultaneous bilateral nasal and temporal visual changes, hypacusia (impaired hearing), tinnitus, dysarthria, ataxia, vertigo, simultaneous bilateral paresthesias, or decreased level of consciousness. Muscle weakness (called "motor weakness") is not part of the aura of BTM. BTM aura symptoms are reversible, and a migraine headache occurs either during the aura or within 60 minutes. Other neurological disorders may also cause these type of symptoms, so further evaluation is generally needed. Medications such as the triptans and ergotamines are contraindicated for BTM. This type of migraine is also called Basilar artery migraine, Basilar migraine, and Bickerstaff syndrome."

it could be time to go to a doctor
you could have a serious problem, only someone in person can examine you and have any hope of truly knowing for sure what is wrong...it could be the I-glutamine, high blood pressure, dehydration, or a very long list of other things, i would suggest taking it easy at the gym, eat healthy, drink plenty of water, and see a doctor soon
Good luck, I hope you feel better soon

this could be an aneurysm=blood clot=fatal !
when you are taking a new product and you have a side effect that's worrying you, stop taking it, and show it to a doctor or pharmacist. Don't work out till you find out for sure, you can always catch up later. This is your life & more important than your pushups.

I would stop taking the I-glutamine and see if you still have the pain. If you are really worried go to the doctor.

I get headaches when I have to do explosive bursts of exercise while laying down, like crunches or push ups, because I tend to hold my breath (my trainer also pushes me). It's hyperventilating, and it gives me huge headaches. maybe you too?
