The egg comes first and it grows to a chicken then the relationship is cyclic. I heard it recently on the news by researchers.

I don't know but I've been thinking of making chicken soup with hard boiled eggs put into the soup. So I guess in this case the chicken would come first unless I hard boiled the eggs in advance first.

The chicken. The egg needs to be kept warm, so a chicken has to be there to hatch the egg!

We will never resolve this one...Hehe...But since an egg is essentially an ovary, I would say that the chicken must first exist, so she can shed an ovary, i.e. an egg.
