The cheapest thing to do is go to Quincy Market and walk around. There's always something going on there... and it's FREE.
Also, walk around the Common, hit the Public Garden to see the 'Make Way for Duckilings' statues.
Walk the Freedom Trail. Takes two hours and is absolutely free.
Stroll Newbury Street to look at the freaks, geeks, and the tres rich.
Hit the Museum of Fine Arts (not sure how much that's gonna set you back).
Hit Copley Place at the Westin. It will also lead yoyu to the Prudential. Take the elevator to the top for a great view of the city.
New England Aquarium, check that out. Not sure about the price.
Hop the Red Line T to Harvard Sqaure in Cambridge and soak up the culture.
Hope that helps!

walk down the street to visit the The mother Church of Christ, Scientist they have a Planatarium there and some sites, outside is a large reflection pool, then walk down the street to visit the two malls that are located in Copley check to see if there are tours going on at Trinity Church and Copley Square library -its the first public library in the country. Go up to the Observation deck In the John Hancock building

Red Sox games are always sold out, but there are plenty of tickets available the day of the game. If you don't mind buying from scalpers, you can get a ticket. Just show up an hour or so before the game and make a deal.

Yes. You could go to Fanueil Hall Marketplace. There is alot to do there. And there are SO many places to eat. It's pretty cheap there and if you're coming to Boston, you should take the T. It goes right to Fanueil Hall, and you're have ridden the world famous green line!! Hehe.
