Havin problems with the TAP-IN-GO spool,string went back in .How do i open it and re-string??UGG!!

the string might be too tighly wound on the spool oryou might almost be out of string.turn the weed eater over ,look closely at the blck part and it will have arrows telling you which ways to push down and turn and then pull straight up.on the spool there is a tiny hole that you stick the end of the string in when you unravel the string do it slow so you can see where it is .poke the string in the hole and wind slowly,but dont put to much or youll have the same problem,and then cut off at the end of winding.and hold the end of the string in one hand and spoolin the other,poke the string back through the hole from inside to out ,while with other hand sliding the spoool back in,and pushing down and turning until it locks!then you should be ready to go!

There are 2 thingys on the side, push them in and the spool will pop out. I buy the spools already wound. Or I sometimes just let my boyfriend do it

Pull on the bump knob to pop it out, have your string ready (has a arrow to show which way to wind it) and insert a little into that tiny hole so to grip it better. Wind it up, pull it out the hole on the trimmer head and pop the knob back in.
