I think you're talking about the place where you would get the packages of Bacon, and prepackaged cold cuts?? In our store, we call it the Meat Side Case, reason being is that it is perpendicular to the rest of the Meat Cases. The cases where we keep the large Hams, Turkeys, Boxes of Burgers, etc. we call Coffin Cases because well they look like coffins.

Meat department is by the butcher shop and the deli dept. is where you can get sliced stuff. Sometimes you can find it in the self-serve deli section which is where the pre-packed lunch meat and stuff is found.
