what lie?

2006-06-08 09:02:56 · answer #1 · answered by golferwhoworks 7 · 0 1

What lies? Do you be live in JESUS? If SO HE PASSED THE KEYS TO THE CHURCH TO PETER AND EVERY OTHER POPE AS WELL UP TO JESUS. SO If you believe in Christ or GOD then you must believe in the Catholic church, Just like the Apostle Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
the Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord:

Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.

He descended into hell.

The third day He arose again from the dead.

He ascended into heaven
and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty,
whence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy *catholic church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting.

Amen.

If Catholics have been taught a certain thing all their lives, its the only truth they know, therefore they are not spreading lies as to the best of their knowledge.
Just like Christians, if they have been taught from the get-go of their beliefs, its the only truth they know so therefore they are not spreading lies to the best of their knowledge.
This goes for all religions. It is not right to try to say which religion is right or wrong.

This question does not belong in the Royalty thread. It belongs in the Religion and Spirituality thread. It is also a very poorly formed question, grammatically and content-wise. What do you mean? What lies are you talking about.Which Catholics are you referring to:all Catholics are not alike. Are you referring to some Vatican officials? Are you asking about the abuse issues or the fictional DaVinci Code? You need to be clearer.

Here we go again... banging on the old religion drum... ... you know what? Anyone who was not alive more than 2000 years ago knows nothing about the actual events that led to the modern day Christian belief system so why don't you all accept the fact that you are participating in the longest running game of "Chinese Whispers" in the history of the world and just learn to get along?

Fact: Differences of opinion regarding belief systems (AKA Religion) have killed more innocent men, women and children than all disputes regarding oil, money, land or other tokens of wealth combined.

BTW... as a short side note... ...what the hell does this retarded question have to do with the subject matter (Royalty)?

ammein....

Not very Christian of you to say another Christian religion is wrong. Do you believe that Jesus is the savior? You say you are Christian.....Catholics believe the same thing. We all know the one true way to salvation so what are we wrong about?

How about reading that bible again and learning a bit more what it means to be Christian.

Yes. We are all wrong when we lie. What I hate about catholics is that the church tries to make them believe things like pro-life that they wouldn't believe otherwise.

Only Roman Catholics are right, the ones who go to the Latin mass.

Honestly, with so many people not reading the Bible for themselves and the people depending solely on what the priests or preachers tell them, there are a LOT of mislead people in ALL faiths.
