Other computers cannot open my attachment. What can I do?

The programs you use are important here. Make sure you send files that are from commonly used programs or commonly used file extensions, such as Word, Excel, or file types bmp, jpg, and stuff like that. Also try saving as very generic file types such as txt or rtf.

if you are using yahoo beta, you have to remember to click attach files before saying okay.. I catch myself all the time thinking that I have attached a file and I have not.

is it a certain file extension? they might have to get the program that opens it

they do realize you have to double click or right click the attachment to open it?
