I am purchasing a Saturn for $900 and I'd like to know if they have any potential problems that I should look for and has anybody got one with high miles? How is the condition of it? I am trying to be careful and not get a problem car right from the start. Thanks Guys

make very certain the engine does not tick, depending who your buying it from that problem can be masked very easily buy putting extra thick 20/50 oil in it what i would do is ask the dealer when was the oil last changed if it was recently check the dip stick to see if its unusually thick if he dodges the question dont buy it i owned one otherwise they are good cars i have not yet seen one without a engine tick being a loose valve and will cost $800 + to fix

happy hunting
