Roberto - for it is he - is a 3ft 6in, 35lb beast of a bunny from Worcester, who "bounced backn in the battle of the superbunnies" (Daily Mail) after claims that Herman The German (a 3ft, 22lb foot-thumper) was the world's biggest.

The Mail gives us a bit of background in this eye-popping, ongoing story of the lengthy, lardy lapins.

Both are from the Continental Giants breed (you don't say!), which we're told were developed in the 18th century for a bit of fun, sorry, "to enter biggest rabbit contests".

I'm not from England, but over in U.S. the Flemish giant is probably the biggest.

This probably won't help. Sorry.
