For PC's, I know there are cards you can install inside the computer to add USB 2.0 ports, but I'm not sure if those are available for Mac. Try CompUSA, Radio Shack, or Apple store to see if they're available.

u mean more usb ports? well u get those usb hub ports, like an extension plug where u can have 4 or 5 plugs on at once, like me but usb. find in Pc world or other computer electriacl places

You can plug any usb cable into that Mac and it will work. Don't worry about whether its USB 1.0 or 2.0. It's fast.

the usb ports on an emac are attachted to the logic board and can't be replaced without removing solder joints and re soldering the new usb ports to the logic board (NOT WORTH THE HASSLE)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

buy an adaptor that has more usb ports. OR trash your Mac and buy an IBM base PC. they are more compatible with other PCs'....
