If I were single, I would not give out my number until I got a chance to KNOW you. You being disabled wouldn't have any validation at all to ME. I have a handicapped daughter in a wheelchair since she was 4 years old ( car wreck w/ ex- husband ) and I know she will go through these types of circumstances and / or behavior. Some women would see your disability as too much "work". And it is a shame. The majority of handicapped people I've met through conventions and therapies for my daughter are very kind and considerate people and I feel blessed to have known them. Your "flower" will come. Put yourself out there and be your BEST self. That goes for anyone! Mingle with other disabled people to, and you will find people in their lives that are not handicapped (or are) that LOVE people as sweet and kind as you. God bless. Good luck !

I wouldn't blow you off, I'd get to know you by getting your number. Girls that do that are just shallow and only seeing an image that isn't bad anyway. seriously what's wrong with be a "handicap" anyway (there are worse off people, honestly. At least you can type) Steven Hawking, possibly the smartest man alive...in a wheelchair, no?

It depends on his personality, the fact that he would be using a walker, or in a wheelchair would have NO effect on my decision. It would purely depend on how he approached me, what he said and how he interacted with me.

Obviously the girls you are approaching are the wrong kind, they're judging you purely on the fact that you are handicapped. Know what? You deserve better anyway - don't give girls like that the time of day honey.

Hugs, Marilyn

I guess it depends on how you approached me. If you used a sleazy pick up line, then no, but if you talked to me and made me laugh or something then sure. You should also be careful for the girls who will give you their number because they feel sorry for you. I really don't know... good luck.

Handicap doesn't bother me at all. If I liked you to and there was an attraction, I'd give out my number to someone who was handicaped.

I would be flattered but I'm married now.
I had a crush on my neighbor when I was younger and he was in a wheel chair, he was really cool I liked hanging out with him.
alot, his mother was overly protective though.
I'm sorry people are superficial, Isn't it better they reject you now then after you were in a realationship? see it as a way to weed out the good ones from the bad ones, the good ones won't care.

Apparently they are just rude... a handicap wouldn't bother me at all in a man... however I'd have to turn you down too, I'm married =)

It might not be your handicap, it might be your approach...I turn down plenty of physically abled men, and it's because of the way they approach me and present themselves. Not necessarily what they look like.
