When you obtain a pet, you obtain a responsibility. It is your responsibility to care for those animals to the best of your ability until their natural death. Getting rid of a pet in order to get another one is a pretty immoral thing to do. Would you trade in your kid for a new one if they didn't turn out to be exactly how you wanted them? I think not. Those animals are completely, 100% dependant on you. You are their GOD. You have the power to destroy them or give them a happy, comfortable life. I hope you think about that deeply before you choose another pet.

Ferrets are difficult pets. They smell really bad and they make a mess and no, they can't be housebroken no matter what somebody tells you. They can be affectionate, but aren't always. They sleep all day and want to play all night. They are very playful, and very curious and very destructive. They can't be left to hang out like a dog, because they will destroy your house and poop everywhere and then find a hole to curl up in or escape and you'll freak out looking for them, and maybe step on them curled up in a sock. Ferrets are alot of work.

I suggest you take a closer look at your sugar gliders and love them till they die of natural causes and then you can start thinking about replacing them. They aren't toys. This isn't a new video game you're talking about. This is a life with a soul and feelings. Next time, do more research before obtaining something you didn't really want.

I love my Gliders but you are not able to descent them so I bought an expensive air purifier to put by their cage or the cage will not smell so great also sugar gliders need allot of attention and once bonded with their owners have a hard time bonding with anyone else, unfortunately some people such as you it would seem get them and do not do enough research before hand which can lead to more stress in their lives which is why not only owners need to be careful but breeders need to be careful who they sell to I won't sell my Gliders to anyone living with their parents or who do not pass the written test I have for them . honestly I don't think you were ready for any pet, get a fish.

Neither is an appropriate pet. I think it's a moot question though since clearly you're not a responsible owner.

When you get an animal, that animal is your responsibility for the rest of its life or your life, whichever comes first.

The fact that your parents are in charge of your pet decisions shows that you are just a kid. You have the rest of your life to be a horrible pet owner. You should try to be a good one now and do the best that you can with your sugar gliders.

I had a sugar glider before, and she wasnt much fun. I would like to get a farret too for all the same reasons. So I think you should sell your sugar gliders and get a cute little farret, I like the white ones.
