i went to this one place and they charge $35 for nails and with pink tips. i think that is alot of money what do You think?

I am not sure where you are from but where I am they cost about $75

A full set with just 1 color usually runs $25-$30 and most (if not all) places charge an extra $5 for a french manicure (or pink with white tips) plus you have to leave the nail tech a tip. So I usually wind up paying $35 dollors for acrylics with the tip included. That price is actually average.

Nope. Thats to much for fake nails. Why not grow your own, that doesnt cost anything and theyre just as pretty. It's a waste of money in my opinion. Just think of all the other fun things you could do with $35. Why put plastic on your nails?(acrylic,same difference) Theres alot more to life than fake nails and spa treatments!

No, but thats because I think pink tips are sick looking. Also no because I have good finger nails. However, I would spend it on a pedicure, so in a round about sort of way, its not an obscene amount to be paying especially if the place is clean and has a good reputation.

It is a lot for acrylic, if it's gel then that's about the going rate, some places charge extra for tip wether it's airbrushed or painted on. The fancier the place you go to then the more they charge. Not be be stero-typical but if you go to a korean-owned establishment, then you'll get the best price 9 times out of 10.

Why not? Isn't it $30 to get acrylic nails anyway? I love Pink. But, the guys I work with say that only strippers have pink tips.

It depends on where you live. Are you talking about just a manicure . . . or acryllic nails? I think a full set in Southern California runs between $25-$30, with the fill being between $12-$15.

You get what you pay for - there are lots of places that are probably cheaper and lots of places that are more expensive. If you feel comfortable in the place and like what you are going to get it is never too much money. You are worth each and every penny.

$ 35 not to bad but I used to pay $25 to get mine done but honey grow your own get you some sally hansen hard as nails and some sally hansen finger nail polish it will strengthen your nails and make them grow. Plus Fake nails are so bad for your real nails and they can cause nail fungus if not cleaned properly that can make you loose your whole finger nail. Just grow em :)

Sounds about right to me. I would save the money and call around for other places or find someone else to do them.
