Do you stare at it or just ignore it? Any thoughts? It's a question for a friend of mine.

Personally, I try to look in the eye that is looking at me. I try to ignore the eye that's looking off somewhere.
I have worked with several folks with eye problems - blindness in one eye, wandering eye, walleye - and after a few seconds it is easy to ignore.
Don't stare or make a big deal. It is no more important to what makes them real people than the length of their toes or the shape of their earlobes (which are also pretty variable among people).

I think they're just another human being like myself. I don't have a lazy eye, but have known a couple people that have had one. One of the girls had a problem with her thyroid. She took meds for a while, then they did some kind of surgery and it looks semi-"normal" now. It doesn't make anyone any less of a person to have physical flaws. God made us different for a reason, to help one another, not to hurt each other.

my uncle has a lazy eye, and I always ask who is he talking to when he asks a question. He seems to be looking left and right at the same time.....its kinda funny, he laughs at me when I ask, and he knows I have a hard time keeping a straight face......but at least we know who he's talking to so he can get the right answer or response!!!!!!

I don't think anything about it. Every human being has what they perceive to be imperfections. I know that a lazy eye doesn't mean one is blind it just means the muscles that support the eyeball are weak. I prefer to concentrate on their sparkling personality :o)

I wish, deeply in my heart, that there eyes could be compatible, whether the lazy one be more active or the active one learn to be more lazy...why can`t they just try to get along?
