What do you do if someone believes you did something and you really honestly didn't, but no matter what you do they say they don't believe you and never will?

Accept it, and if you mean your bf or gf, I'd recommend breaking up because there are trust issues.

I've had that happen a couple times to me. My brother still doesn't believe me that *I* didn't tell my Mother a family secret. I didn't. My Mother could tell something was up and asked me point blank. She can read me like a book and so she asked my brother, who assumed she already knew everything and HE spilled the beans. But they still think it was me. I had to let it go...because it can only destroy you. I would think twice about keeping those friends if they honestly don't trust you. You can't do anything about family (LOL) but you can choose your friends.

You are going to have to generate some proof. Evidence, a credible witness, an alibi that can be proven, anything like that.
