I'm going to make some popcorn, pull up a chair and watch as society crumbles. Will be better than reality TV. Do you think it will be anything like, 'The Day After Tomorrow'? I really liked that shot where the little Japanese guy gets hit with the baseball sized ice rock. :P

I cant wait until the North Atlantic Current Shuts Down. The UK and most of the North will be an Ice cube and the Ice Age Begins. The Day After Tomorrow is a very good look at Global Warming and the The Wrath of Mother nature.

In recent years, it was El Nino now Global Warming.
What other kinds of fun "global" garbage is going to be next?

If you have the ego to think that human beings can destroy the earth, then you need to check yourself.
The earth has been around for billions of years. And you think that a couple hundred years of some tiny specks is going to totally destroy the earth? LOL
Our planet has gone through how many ice age and warming periods?

Mother nature ALWAYS wins in the end. Period. If you don't think so, just look at New Orleans.

Global Warming is another scare tactic created by liberals. There are virtually no scientists who SPECIALIZE in climate studies who are onboard with the theory.

The earth has had cycles of warm and cold patches and adjusts itself accordingly - computer outputs are not 'predictions', if a researcher plugs in worst case scenarios - the outputs are naturally going to be grim.

"Dr. Dick Morgan, former advisor to the World Meteorological Organization and climatology researcher at University of Exeter, U.K. gives the details, "There has been some decrease in ice thickness in the Canadian Arctic over the past 30 years but no melt down. The Canadian Ice Service records show that from 1971-1981 there was average, to above average, ice thickness. From 1981-1982 there was a sharp decrease of 15% but there was a quick recovery to average, to slightly above average, values from 1983-1995. A sharp drop of 30% occurred again 1996-1998 and since then there has been a steady increase to reach near normal conditions since 2001."

Oh really? Do you really know what is going to happen in the next two decades? The magnetic north pole is going to be over Siberia. The magnetic poles generally flip every 300,000 years, and we're a few hundred thousand years overdue. Heck, compasses in Africa are already being affected.

Do you know what happens when the magnetic field begins to break up as it goes through it's flip? It no longer protects us from space radiation. That means, it gets really, really hot in some places.

I tend to believe that is what is happening and since it's humanly impossible to stop, we're being diverted into thinking we're causing the warming. But, not to worry, it takes about 1,000 years for the poles to completely flip, you nor I will be here to suffer through it.

Relax now and plop another ice cube into your drink, you're powerless to affect anything.

There is NO scientific evidence that the earth is experiencing global warming. On the contrary, the actual evidence shows a slight global cooling over the last century. The propaganda and the new "Al Gore" global-warming movie actually prove the "cooling theory."

Rich Dad, you're truly a moron if you think El Nino is just a conspiracy theory of some sort.

As for global warming, yes, Earth will abide, but she will shake off humans like a flu bug. You're awfully cavalier about that fact. I for one would like to see the human race, despite its many flaws, continue.
