Would you please stop parroting the same old tired "it's fake" cliche? We get it, ok? People who watch wrestling realize the outcomes are predetermined; they watch it because it is pure escapist fun, a sort of soap opera that both males and females can get into. I am sure there are a few slack-jawed yokels out there who think it's all real, but 99.99999 % of wrestling fans know it isn't. It's not a sport; it's called sports ENTERTAINMENT. I can tell you what's NOT fake...the blood, the occasional serious injury, and the athletic ability of the performers.

I personally don't watch it (well not since the days of Hulk Hogan and Ult Warrior) but I would have to say because it provides a form of entertainment. I mean people watch TV shows and movies all the time and we know thats not real but yet we watch?..You know what I'm saying?.

u do watch movies & serials in which people get hurt, die, etc. inspite of the fact that it is all a fake.
so, s v watch these things, v watch wrestling also, atleast v have a satisfaction that its smthing that is recorded in frnt of 1000s of people & that 2 in 1 shot & not in retakes.
s u get entrtnmnt by actn movies, so do people get it by wrestling s well.

If u watch movies,TV serials,Theatre even u know they a fake but we all watch it for entertainment same rule applies to wrestling...

The same reason that people watch soap-operas when they know that they are fake, or for the same reason that they watch Bruce Lee movies when they know that nobody is really getting kicked in the head.

cause it's kinda like watchin soaps its fake but fun to watch and all the drama gotta love the drama. And being able to get mad cause things dont go the way u expected them too.

Because it is entertaining. I watched "The West Wing" and it is fake. It is entertaining though.

because it's entertaining and u have something to look forward to on saturday, sunday morning1am, friday and monday. And some of the wrestlers are hot
