NO, just because a cat walks in your way, it's not a bad omen (or good omen for that matter), It will NOT bring you bring good luck or bad, likewise if I walk under a ladder or any other superstition you can think of. It's all in the mind!.
People who tell such things don't know any better or they out there make fools of us or have a laugh at our expense.
Often in days of old this was a method of control by parents or the elders or the state,
your mind is yours, don't let them control it!.

probability is that in case you hadn't long previous to MySpace that day, you may have had the call asking you out besides. you would be able to desire to avert those re-posts, because of the fact that is how long database lists are made for email addresses, and the unique source gets the ongoing checklist. all human beings on the amassed checklist finally ends up getting provides and email unsolicited mail later. those look so romantic and emotionally charged with vegetation, rainbows and grants, yet there's a sinister schedule and plan at the back of them from the 1st link originator because of the fact the checklist of email addresses grows longer and longer. human beings putting your call on them and sending them to you're no longer doing you a choose in any respect, and you're no longer the two to the pals who's email addresses you upload to the checklist. wish you recognize what i'm attempting to assert. avert those, and take care Me! :- )

Sometimes yes sometimes no.

My Mom put an item of clothing on inside out (which is supposed to be lucky) but later on that day she tripped over and had a compound fracture (her bone broke and came out of her skin)

I always 'see a pin and pick it up' but never get the luck.

No we have grown past these silly superstitions, they are for the ignorant and and the unenlightened, of the world.
We do occasionally find the odd idiot who believes in these things, but the majority have an agenda for their pretence of belief, usually money, ego and, or power.

No. I'm not an ignorant person and therefore I feel that superstitions are pointless. Most societies today still steeped in superstition are poor and illiterate.

Yes, the first day of every month when I wake up I say, "White rabbits, white rabbits, white rabbits" What the hell is all that about? It's not like I win the lottery every month.... but then I'm still here.
