People bully others because they have low self-esteem and are aware that they are lacking something. Others find it funny because they need some type of amusement in their boring lives and think seeing others being tortured is something to get away from the torture they are living in.

Unfortunately, bullying is happening everyday on the job as well as in schools. People bully other people because they are insecure about themselves. When people gain power and authority, their heads can become swollen. Now they are able to treat those under them any way they so desired without any consequences. After the initial bullying, the next incident becomes easier and the next easier, until bullying is the only thing the bully knows.

I was bullied in school. It sucks. From what I can gather some do it out of insecurity, some because they were raised in an environment where the way they communicate is aggressive. Some people do it because the only way they know how to make themselves feel good is by bringing others down. Which is sad and pretty pathetic. I ran into a girl from high school who constantly gave me hell, she actually apologized because she had realized the pain she caused me. I'm not saying its a common place thing to happen; but hopefully people can learn and grow from they're experiences. But I think the best defense against bullies is to know yourself and realize the negative junk they're throwing at you is probably closer to how they feel about themselves, so just hold your head up, ignore it, and keep on keepin on!

People bully others because they feel insecure about themselves and they need to feel more powerful. I know; that doesn't make it hurt any less, and I really don't have any recommendations about dealing with it. That old "just ignore them" bit rarely works. If you are being bullied, tell a teacher or your parents. Bullying is always (or should be, anyway) against school rules, and in some cases can even be illegal. At the very least, keep your chin up. It's not your problem, it's theirs.

People bully others only because they are the most insecure people on earth. They are sad people who struggle with life and sleeping peacefully at night. I mean, how can you mistreat God's children and have peace in your life? God will punish these people. I wish I could rescue all the bullied people out there and we could all go get those jerks! I was never bullied but my heart has always gone out to those who have been! Although I was in the "popular" crowd in school, I would never bully anyone and I treated everyone the way I would want to be treated. I was friends with cheerleaders and the "in" crowd but I also loved the "special ed" people the same and spoke to them. Life is too short to treat others mean and rudely.

Most people bully other people because of their own insecurities. It makes them feel like a bigger person to put other people down. Some people are just plain mean. The person who is being bullied can usually control the situation by standing up for themselves and turning the tables.

People bully other people as there is an inner problem- conscious or unconscious. People who bully are actually weak. They bully, not because they think its fun, but becuase its how they learned to cope with what they face in life (problems, presssures, anxieties, etc). They face problems but don't know how to handle it so they find people (an outlet) who they think are vulnerable.. It could also be a sign of an attention problem, wherein the only way for him/her (the one bullying) to get noticed is when he/she does bad things, chances are, that kid will likely to continue with this bad habit of picking with other kids. These kinds of people (the bullies) are the ones who need real help.

People that bully others kids have been proven in many studies to be physcologically unstable. Typically, these kids comes from an unstable home with broken families. Their parents has failed to teach them anything worth while. These kids usually will end up in jail at some point in their lives. In short, bullying is a sign that something else is lacking in their life (usually a problem at home). They think it is fun because they don't know any better.
