Are you talking about the SIMS program? School of Information Management Systems?
It's a graduate program, and it's quite good. I have friends enrolled in SIMS. Many didn't start out as computer science majors, but all had an avid interest in computers. In particular, they volunteered in/hung out at a student-operated computer lab.
Anyway, as long as you're a CA resident, you can get a top-notch education in InfoSys for very little in tuition. So I'd give it a thumbs up!

UC Berkley is known for their technological expertise. The school of information systems ranks among the top 10 in the country. I don't have the source handy, but I know Berkley is top notch.
