In Firefox, turning on and off the Adobe plugin seems to have fixed it, although the PDFs always open up in a new frame when they shoud not.

I still have not been able to fix IE. Any help would be appreciated.

In firefox you should install the newest " PDF download" extension...if you have not done that already. can't help you with IE, I don't use it.

Go to Adobe.com and download the lastest version of the Abode Reader and install it. Should fix whatever is wrong with the current install.
