I use to have to take an anger management class and what i did was write the things down and throw them away. Go out side and yell at the top of my lungs, Punch a pillow, take a walk. But finally the last thing you must do is talk to the person or persons who made you angery. You need to resolve the problem letting it just be there isn't making it any better. If you can resolve your problem by using tatics you may need to seek professional help.

Ways To Take Out Anger

1) Yoga or power yoga will help you let your anger away
2) Box, kick-boxing, martial arts like Karate will make your anger be let out
3) In special cases you can break things (e.g. vase) instead hurting someone. Imagine that the vase you break is the person who made you mad
4) Close your eyes and imaging you are hitting, smashing, etc the person who hurts your feelings
5) Buy a pet (if you don't own one), especially a cat or a dog. Their fur is the most relaxing thing in the world!
6) There are shops that sell things that make you relax. For example there are in stores a pair of balls that have different relaxing sounds and you play them in your hands.

Do something physical that NEEDS doing. Clean something thoroughly. Chop wood for your fireplace. Scrub the oven, without using chemical that cut the burnt-on grease. Clear out the attic.

If that's too physical, then go buy a 300 count package of el cheapo paper plates and tear each and every one of them into teeny tiny shreds, cussing all the while. That's my favorite. And the cats just love playing in the mess. I get to laughing so hard at their antics pretty soon all my mad is poofed and I'm a happy camper once again. Then I can forgive the bleedin' twit who made me mad in the first place.

I've always thought that a well written note, expressing your feelings can be given - but ONLY after writing it, then re-reading it 24 hours later, and making some edits, after the heat of anger abates.

Take an old pillow that is pretty much shot and not useful anymore. Take it out in the back yard or somewhere where no one can see you. Beat it up instead of beating up the person or issue you are angry with. If you get a broom or mop, you can hit it. Beat it up until the polyfill or feathers are flying out of it.

Put a knife through a pumpkin with a note that says "You" on the person's porch. Nobody gets hurt.
